Our Focus

To create a detailed Masterplan for a property that combined thoughtful landscaping, an extensive tree planting scheme, and functional design elements. The project included a memorial garden with a fireplace and carefully planned spaces for both beauty and purpose.

Challenge and Solution

Metamorfinca showcases how thoughtful design can transform a property into a fully integrated and productive system. Over two years, we worked closely with the clients to bring their vision to life, blending sustainability with functionality at every step.

The project features a diverse range of systems designed to work together seamlessly: a food processing center, greenhouse garden, nursery, food forest, rotational chicken system, and goat pasture system, all interconnected through productive landscaping. Ponds and gardens were incorporated to support biodiversity and provide additional layers of productivity, while also enhancing the property’s aesthetic appeal.

Extensive planting, including a robust food forest and carefully selected vegetation, forms the backbone of the design, creating habitats, reducing erosion, and ensuring long-term resilience.

Water and energy systems were implemented to support these operations, including rainwater harvesting, greywater recycling, and renewable energy setups. Composting areas ensure a closed nutrient loop, turning waste into resources for the gardens and orchards.

Metamorfinca is a thriving example of what’s possible when ecological principles guide land management, offering a balanced and beautiful model of sustainable living.
